Well what can I say.....We are exhausted, but I think we are finally settled and no more boxes to unpack. We moved last Friday and the movers were great and fast everything packed and moved in 6 hours and everything was going great until someone decided to well um..flush the toilet and that's when the week long headache began. One flush of the upstairs toilet and the downstairs toilet overflowed and the bathtub filled with human waste YUCK!!!! So let the battle begin....of course the same thing had happened on Thursday before we moved in and we had to have the plumbing snaked and the plumber claimed he pulled a "baby" wipe out. Well the owners of the house insisted it was our fault even though the "babies" hadn't even been to the house yet. After arguing the paid for the snake, then the real battle begain on Friday nite and Saturday when they admitted that the have had the problem for 6 years and told us we could only use two squares of toilet paper and the rest had to be put in the trash. Hard to believe people are so cheap they won't even pay to have plumbing fixed, so once again we called a plumber Saturday nite who came and helped us out for a little bit and finally after threatening the owners they finally agreed to fix it. So today after 5 hours of installing a cleanout in the front of house and removing tree roots (hmmm thought it was "baby" wipes) from the pipes we are set to go (no pun intended) well that is until the tree roots invade again.
Onto better updates, Grandma Teresa arrived before the drama and probably wished to go home soon after but she is sticking it out and happy to hear the bathtub will no longer be filled with human waste. There are several kids that live near us and hopefully Taylor will get to meet them all soon, they all seem to be around her age. Aaron has been at his new job for almost a month now and seems to be enjoying it, the girls and I sure do miss him during the day, we were used to having lunch together, and the girls miss his "hugs and kisses" breaks. But we will just be grateful he was able to work at home for as long as he did. He is also still running his own business when he has a chance during lunch breaks and after work, so he is very tired these days.
Anyway, I have babbled for long enough now. I will post new pictures soon...as soon as I remember where the cable might be..........till then........................

What a welcome to your new home ! Is the owner paying all the plumbing bills? Hope things flow better from now on.
We look forward to seeing some pictures of the new place. The trees must be really big!
It is wonderful that you have Theresa to help you settle in. We appreciate the posting.
