Wow, where has time gone, my baby is 8 months old! She is SO much fun right now, she just started crawling and she is SO curious. She is eating two solid meals a day and drinking 3-4 bottles, she sleeps from 5:30pm til 6:00am and then naps twice a day. Skylor loves to play with all her big sister, she loves pulling off Alisons glasses, pulling Laurens pony tail and wants to do anything Taylor is doing. She is also eating the little gerber puffs all by herself, she almost has her pincer grasp down, it takes her a few trys but it usually ends up in her mouth and she is becoming quite good at using a sippy cup. Alison makes sure I know that the ones Skylor uses are for babies and the ones she uses are for big girls. Skylor can also clap her hands is starting to play peek-a-boo, she will stand supported for a few minutes and is starting to try to pull herself up, but she isn't too confident with that yet.
We created a little "safe" gated play area for her, but she would much rather be free to roam, which usually lands her at the fireplace, the tv stand pulling out all the dvds and wires or at the fake tree pulling off all the spanish moss onto herself and the floor. She loves to rock back and forth to music and she doesn't like it much if someone she doesn't know holds her.
As for the other girly girls they are keeping busy or keeping me busy. Taylor is the busiest, she is taking drawing lessons after school and doing amazing!She is going to be in a play called Willy Wonka Jr. and she will find out today what her role will be, last week they had to audition by singing a few songs from the play and doing a few lines. She wants to be an Oompa Loompa. She is also involved in Girl Scouts this year again as a Daisy scout and she really enjoys that and she is still taking her swim lessons every Saturday. Her swimming is so good, she can do the crawl well and backstroke is her best (like her mama, that's what I swam on HS swim team).
Lauren and Alison are enjoying school and planting gardens and watching caterpillars turn into butterflies, they keep the girls very busy at school. Alison has started private speech twice a week and is doing very well.

Happy Columbus Day, Sharon. Celebrate the Italian heritage that you carry so well. You can be happy for, most assuredly, Skylor will really appreciate this blog when she is in her 20s. Don't worry. Stay happy as you are today. It's very exciting to see something new everyday with the four Wykoff sisters. They are really special! I feel privileged to read your blog. I hope to see Taylor compete in a swim meet someday!
