Lauren and I made it home at 7:00pm, it was a long day......This morning at 5:30a there was power surge at the hospital and Lauren's EEG monitoring went down (and many others), none of the nurses knew how to bring up the equipment, and the techs don't start until 7a, so finally she was back up at 7:40. But wouldn't you know that she had one of her shaking episodes during the down time and we hadn't seen it while there, oh well. The took the electrodes off her head at 11a and then reviewed and came by to tell us about 12p that they did capture what the called myoclonic seizures and epileptic spasms and that her left frontal activitity was much worse then when she had the 2hr EEG in February. So we have started another drug called Zonapran. She was supposed to go for her MRI at 1:00, then 1:30, then it was 2:30, finally at 3:00 they came for us. Now we have to wait for those results....more waiting :0(
Anyway, it sure is nice to be home.......
