The neighbors joined in to wish Lauren a good day at school :0)
Lauren had a great day at school, I spent the first 3 hours with her just talking to the nurse and her new aide on how to feed, water and medicate her during the day. This will be an adjustment for her as 1st grade is a longer day, she gets on the bus at 7:30am and gets home at 3:15pm. She did really well today, the teacher records a message for us everyday on a switch so Lauren can push the button and tell us how her day was. Love it!! Then we have to do the same for the teacher in the morning letting her know anything she would need to know. One down and three to go :0) so stay tuned, next up is Skylor's first day at preschool next Wednesday.

So glad to hear that Lauren had a good day at her new school! She looks very happy waiting for the bus with her sisters. What exactly is a switch - - a tape recorder instrument?
That picture of three sisters around Lauren in her mobile chair are just precious. Beautiful. I wonder if there is a way to capture it and frame it It is such good news that Lauren adapted so well to her first day away. Lydia and I really appreciate the updates and the pictures. We do realize it takes time and is not always possible to keep up the blog every day. We are still thinking of you everyday.
