Lauren was admitted this morning for another overnight video EEG. Everything went very smoothly and we got in a private room after about 45 minutes of waiting, compare that to August when we waited 5 hours. It is very quiet here on a Sunday.
After we got all her leads placed the nurses and doctors started their many questions and exams. During this Lauren's body temp wouldn't read higher then 92.4 And her heart rate was in the 50's. This alarmed everyone and started many more rounds of doctors. So the testing began...she started with an EKG to check for bradycardia, then blood work to check her thyroid and now she under a heated blanket and her temp is up to 95.7 and her heartrate is now in the 90's (normal). Now we sleep and wait for all the test results in the morning.
